My daughter's bestie came by with a brownie plate. "My mom got these for you at a bake sale."The girl and I thanked her and told her what a sweet surprise it was and how delicious they looked.
The friend smiled, "You're welcome."
She then looked at us with a wry smile that comes from knowing our lifestyle as well as your kid's bestie does, "You're going to eat them all in one day, aren't you?"

i also made choc chip brownies yesterday, and 1/4 of the pan is gone.
