Dymo-mite

A lot of my crafty friends know of my affinity for old-school Dymo labeling. Knowing that I have multiple labelers and a ridiculous amount of tape may lead others to think it is addiction. But I must declare, they all serve specific purposes. One of my favorites is this Dymo 2300 Signmaker, which is no longer made and is hard to find. It's prints out big 3/4" labels which I love using on cards and layouts.

So as I was pulling stuff for the flea market at the Scrapbook Oasis this Saturday (yikes, if anyone likes a ton of CM stuff, come to my table), I was thinking of putting this out on my table with some of my favorite colors of tapes. Hey craftsters, what do you think? Or am I the only one crazy for Dymo?

This is one of my multiple labelers. Yes, I know what you're thinking...but it's not a hardcore addiction if I'm willing to let some of it go, right?

I have a really old dymo about 15 years old, it's missing the letter 'f' and 'i' and am loathed to buy a new one, do you know whether you can get replacements for such an old model oh Dymo worshiper!

You can e-mail me bexter_james@hotmail.com

Barleycup, the lever on the front flip it one way it does the outsdide ring, flip it the other it does the inner ring, we have one of these I am just unpacking after a move - Its a great old machine.

Oh and if you pull the centre knob towards you the spindle releases and you can use the upper and lower case on the other side of the wheel.

Since this is my first blog post, I'm wondering if this will even get to you, because the conversation thread is so old! But here goes-- I just learned about the Dymo signmaker 2300 model that you write about, and I'm dying to have one. By chance would you still have the one you were planning on selling or know where I could get one?

Thanks!

I just picked up a dymo 2300 and am need of a replacement part. When you pull the top lever down to imprint the tape there is a rubber pad in which the tape sits on and is pressed to make the indentation on the tape. My roughly one inch by one inch piece of rubber lost its adhesive and now its become useless. I am able to be reached at jk144500@yaho.com Thanks!!!
